CREATIVITY & CRITICAL THINKING

by MOHAMAD SHAFAREEDZ (1112702311)

CREATIVITY:
There's a lot of definition, examples and expression of creativity by various professional and experts around the globe. In my research, I found and article that define creativity as the ability to transcend traditional ideas, relationships, patterns, rules and also to create or invent new fresh ideas, methods and interpretations.

On top of that, creativity is also defined as the act of transforming new, imaginative and fresh ideas to life. Thinking and producing is the two processes that involves in creativity. Innovation is the main production of a new bright and new idea. Ones will be called imaginative but not creative if they did not act on their ideas.

Creativity is something that requires a strong passion and deep commitment because symbols and myths is born out of the creative act. Creativity also brings us our awareness of what was previously hidden and points of new life.

CRITICAL THINKING:
What is critical thinking? It is a process or method of thinking that questions assumptions and predictions. It is an essentials and a very important component or ways of most professions in this world. Critical thinking is also a part of today's education process and increasingly significant as students progress on their education life.

From another view, critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process throughout an actively developing problem solving method. It is based on universal intellectual values that transcend subject matter divisions. Moreover, it is also defined as a set of skills to process and generate information and beliefs creatively.
